Back to Square 1

So, turns out our 'renter' caused more damage than we thought- stove no longer works, sprinklers weren't winterized and there is water pipe damage, there's a leak the basement... and our buyer cancelled. We will lower the price and add these things into the disclosure and probably the bank and realtors will get their money but none will come to us. That's providing we get another buyer before the house goes to the bank.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear that it fell through and hope that a new buyer comes forward and can move quick and your squatter gives you your money.

As I get my adoption plan together I did think about your experiences and have started really questioning what is too much, how will I know if it is too much etc. I guess the reality is I won't until it happens. I really want to adopt siblings, as an only child my children won't have family - cousins, aunts or uncles etc so I need to ensure they have each other, on top of that I have no clue how I would save for a subsequent adoption once I have day care fees. But having fostered 4 and finding it OK I guess I don't want to be lulled into a false sense of security, especially as it wasn't anything to do with me, more that their personalities were easier, there weren't any major problems, I could work part time (at the time) etc. Funnny I was soo naive then and thought all would be fine, now I worry!
